摘要: Textile effluents often contain an array of chemicals with different biodegradation characteristics. Consequently, it is quite difficult to evaluate and interpret the degree COD removal that can be attained by biological treatment without identifying portions are resistant biodegradation. This study evaluates treatability textile wastewaters generated knit wowen fabric finishing category specific emphasis on assessment residual components. A new method proposed experimentally measure initial particulate inert COD. The tested yield a value 73 mgl -1 for this component, corresponding 16 % in sample. previously developed procedure used quantify soluble through microbial metabolism during process. ratio fraction found vary between 0.076 0.22. similar range 0.04 - 0.09 calculated products. kinetic stoichiometric constants associated biodegradable also measured. components, together information about fractions, simulate performance activated sludge systems means relationship total effluent age. results indicate components practically dominate seriously challenge related standards.
