摘要: Abstract We investigate the role of oxygen vacancies in photochromism molybdenum oxide amorphous films. MoO3−x films with a wide range initial stoichiometries are deposited using R.F. unbalanced magnetron sputtering. The evolution visible light absorption conjunction Raman spectra for these is studied detail during course UV-irradiation to correlate color change Mo6+ Mo5+ conversion. For which have an initially more complete stoichiometry, and hence lower vacancy concentration, fully correlates conversion Mo5+. This behavior consistent group models transition metal oxides disregard presence However, coloration greater deviation from higher not accompanied by any significant rely on vacancies. Overall, reported results demonstrate importance stoichiometry films, particularly stages UV-irradiation.
