摘要: Abstract Nanodiamonds (NDs) have been fabricated utilizing micro plasma facility. The mixture of argon as carrier gas and ethanol precursor has dissociated in plasma. flow rate was varied from 4 to 9 l/min. influence rates on structural, surface optical properties NDs compared. An increased amount diamond reported with the increase rate, obtaining maximum value at 6 l/min. Further starts decreasing quality NDs. Raman XRD confirm that smallest size stress free are obtained 6 l/min rate. AFM micrograph also reveals ~27 nm for hydrophobicity increases increasing confirmed by FTIR. Photoluminescence indicates presence nitrogen vacancy defect centers such N3, H3 NV all rates. PL peak intensity lowest density defects diamond. UV–Visible spectroscopy nitrogen-hydrogen (N4 N5). largest band gap confirms highest offer promising applications as, active laser material, fluorescent markers, quantum information, nanoscale magnetic electric filed sensors.
