摘要: A number of techniques are introduced which enable to deliver broadband services residential users. The ultimate capacity is provided by optical fiber all the way user, thanks fiber’s huge bandwidth and very low losses. Also in combination with other media (twisted copper pair cable, coaxial or radio link) can considerably improve access network. Fiber network topologies discussed, including their economic aspects. For shared topologies, a multiple introduced, deploying time slot multiplexing, frequency code wavelength combinations thereof. Wireless delivery mobile users efficiently enabled radio-over-fiber techniques, consolidate signal processing functions at central site. Next beams through fibers, may also be delivered free space, for short clear line-of-sight links.
