An efficient lightweight security algorithm for random linear network coding

摘要: Recently, several encryption schemes have been presented to Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC). The recent proposed lightweight security system for is based upon protecting the Global Encoding Vectors (GEV) and using other vector ensure encoding process of RLNC at intermediate nodes. However, current scheme, presents practical challenges be deployed in real applications. Furthermore, achieving a high level results computational complexity adds some communication overhead. In this paper, new scheme overcome drawbacks that can used real-time data exchange. First, cryptographic primitive (AES CTR mode) replaced by another approach on utilization flexible key-dependent invertible matrix (dynamic diffusion layer). Then, we show reduces size overhead GEV from 2 × h elements. addition that, also demonstrate besides information confidentially, both packet integrity source authentication are attained with minimum memory Indeed, strength shows has sufficient good performance characteristics an efficient simple implementation thus, facilitating integration many applications consider as principal requirement.
