摘要: The source of chemical anthelmintics (levamisole, flubendazole, and thiabendazole) had limited the success gastrointestinal nematodiasis control in sheep goats thus awakened interest study medicinal plant extracts as alternative sources anthelmintics. egg hatching larvicidal effect indigenous were investigated against parasite, Haemonchus contortus. purpose present was to assess efficacy leaf, bark, seed ethyl acetate, acetone methanol Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Wall. ex Nees., Anisomeles malabarica (L.) R. Br., Annona squamosa L., Datura metel Solanum torvum Swartz tested parasitic nematode small ruminants H. contortus using hatch assay (EHA) larval development (LDA). assays run 24-well cell culture plates at room temperature with five replicates. All showed moderate effects after 48 exposure for LDA, respectively; however, 100% inhibition found A. paniculata, squamosa, D. metel, S. 25 mg/ml similar positive Albendazole (0.075 mg/ml) Ivermectin (0.025mg/ml) contortus, respectively. EHA result ED50 which 2.90 3.08 mg/ml, assay, 4.26and 3.86 These remain be confirmed through vivo studies.
