摘要: An investigation of the effects a controlled microenvironment on reactivity has been carried out by synthesis and study in organized monolayers surfactant molecules containing photochemically reactive chromophores. Reactions where substantial environmental have observed include cis-trans isomerization olefins, ketone photoeliminations, ligand substitution processes, excimer photodimer formation, photoredox reactions. Both reactions occurring within assemblies as well interfacial phenomena investigated. Results obtained these studies suggest possible extensions applications for development new catalyst systems, biological models syntheses.
