摘要: IL27 is the newest member of IL6/IL12 family. It consists Epstein-Barr virus-induced gene 3 (EBI3) and p28 subunits signals through receptor complex formed by WSX-1 gp130 subunits. IL27-IL27 interaction was initially shown to induce an early signal for induction Th1 responses. Recently other studies indicate that inhibits inflammatory Th17 lineage development. Despite overall effects observed, role individual remains controversial largely unclear. EBI3, while predominately found with form IL27, has different expression kinetics than p28. P28 also been independently EBI3. Moreover, EBI3 potential binding partners such as p35 subunit IL12 theoretically may regulate response yet undiscovered mechanisms. Understanding anti-inflammatory roles its are essential before immunological regulatory therapies can be developed.
