摘要: Abstract The nanocrystalline zinc oxide (ZnO) films were deposited by a sol–gel method and the effect of sol aging time 0, 1, 7 11 days on structural, optical photoluminescence properties investigated. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that polycrystalline with hexagonal wurtzite structure high orientation along c-axis direction. grain size was in range 42–60 nm increased also thickness from 70 to 147 nm increment. roughness ZnO film investigated atomic force microscope then decreased increment time. are highly transparent an average transmission exceeding 82–95% visible (400–800 nm), which slightly improved measured band gap values between 3.1 eV 3.6 eV. intensity have ultraviolet, violet green emission.
