摘要: Abstract In this paper, we first explore the spatial distribution of 273 cities with index urban clustering and measure eco-efficiency employing data envelopment analysis in China from 2003 to 2015. We then comparatively analyze impacts mechanisms cluster on under a multidimensional framework. The results demonstrate that degree have generally improved, improvement is conducive enhancing eco-efficiency. There “core-periphery” structure process development, impact core stronger than periphery cities. Urban benefits through decentralization effect structural optimization effect. heterogeneous: effectively decentralizes diseconomy large but not small- medium-sized Similarly, uniform. For cities, mainly improves by affecting tertiary industry, whereas for it secondary industry.
