摘要: For long-lived plants that have to cope with high temporal and spatial environmental heterogeneity, genetic diversity is of prime importance for species persistence. Detrimental anthropogenic impact on the gene pool forest trees calls conservation resources. Potentials limitations isozymes DNA markers in are reviewed. These can contribute respect delimitations hybrid zones, as well assessment within among populations. Markers valuable identify resource populations, since today‘s predominantly result plant history (e.g. glacial refuges, migration). Several suggestions been put forward optimize sampling situ or ex populations grounds marker data. Restraint this area recommended. Different types (terpenes, isozymes, nuclear extrachromosomal polymorphisms) quantitative traits yield different information about population differentiation. Hence identification should not solely be based upon a certain type alone. The capability available predict assess adaptive potentials tree still very limited.
