摘要: Bubbly flows in Chemical Engineering systems are typically accompanied by transfer of chemical components from one phase to the other, often followed reaction. CFD models such as Euler-Euler or Euler-Lagrange model require modelling closure terms which account for exchange mass, momentum, species mass etc. between phases. This requires a detailed understanding hydrodynamics and especially at single bubbles. Here, Direct Numerical Simulations based on continuum mechanical have recently become helpful complement experimental investigations needed derivation closures terms. paper reports current numerical approaches Simulation bubble dynamics both clean liquid surfactant solution, well reactive rising bubble.
