A Health-Profile Comparison of Delinquent and Homeless Youths

摘要: Little is known about the health status and care needs of homeless delinquent youths. This study provides medical data (medical history physical examination) on samples (n=245) (n=160) youths in San Francisco, CA. Although had somewhat more problems than did youths,both groups a multiplicity problems, many which were worse among general adolescent population. A substantial percentage both not have adequate coverage. Medical services to high-risk should be improved by providing street outreach, public clinics, multiservice centers for adolescents.
