摘要: A rollover sensing apparatus and method are provided for predicting and/or pitchover conditions of a vehicle. An angular rate sensor senses attitude the vehicle, first accelerometer measures horizontal acceleration second vertical current angle is estimated with Kalman filtering future predicted at an advance time. The compared to threshold output produced indicating vehicle condition based on comparison. about longitudinal axis by comparing roll threshold, while lateral pitch threshold.
