摘要: The formation of Pd carbide (PdC x ) during the synthesis vinyl acetate (VA) was investigated over Pd/SiO2 catalysts with two different particle sizes, as well a Pd–Au/SiO2 mixed-metal catalyst. XRD data show that PdC produced in pure after reaction based on downshift Pd(111) and (200) features. smaller particles showed greater resistance to . XPS are consistent species at surface Pd–Au catalyst, however, primary contributor feature subsequent catalyst is believed arise from reaction-induced alloying Au Pd. apparently very effective preventing Pd-based for VA synthesis.
