摘要: The current study presents a new locomotion interface that allows users to engage into life-like walking experience within virtual environments while sensing and feeling terrain’s topology such as slopes uneven ground surfaces. is composed of turntable platform which four load sensors are embedded track user’s actions. Virtual surface generated by tilting mechanism based on three air cylinders mounted beneath the turntable. usage keep facing screen center all time. Such approach necessary where projection system do not provide surrounding visual feedback (360 o ). proven be simple easy use demonstrated an experimental evaluation. would interest many human-scale CAVE, DOME, Display wall.
