摘要: I propose a methodology to obtain and compare integral information on bird plumage coloration, using colour spectral data conduct studies geographic variation taxonomy of different groups. used principal component analysis discriminant function groups individuals by coloration. As examples the application methodology, compared populations within genus Eulampis Anthracothorax. The results indicate possible taxonomic inadequacies reveal situations that deserve further analysis, demonstrating potential in this area.
