摘要: Abstract : Breast palpation by clinicians is an effective examination frequently performed for breast cancer detection and treatment monitoring. The utilization of physical however has been hampered its inherent subjective nature leading to: (1) the difficulty in interpreting examiner's impressions perceived lump breast. (2) documenting tactile characteristics tumor subsequent examinations or Based on preliminary studies funded NCI grant award, primary objective this predoctoral training project to advance mapping device (TMD) a quantitative characterization through palpation, showing that TMD will improve ability characterize tumor's biomechanics increase efficacy early monitoring, thus improved diagnosis reduction mortality. An equally important acquire solid trainee gain experience necessary developing research career research.
