摘要: Abstract Molybdenum oxide supported on SiC is shown to be an active and stable catalyst for the dehydrogenation of n -butane. The activity was studied in a fixed bed microreactor, reaction product analysed by on-line FTIR technique that enabled study during first minutes stream. At 560°C under atmospheric pressure, conversion -butane selectivity C 4 alkenes were at 20% 70%, respectively. feed diluted with hydrogen water, which required formation phase operation. composed molybdenum modified carbon limited uppermost layer catalyst.
