摘要: Abstract The control of structure and morphology the photoactive blend is a fundamental prerequisite for obtainment high efficiency values in bulk heterojunction (BHJ) polymeric solar cells. In fact, presence disordered amorphous structures BHJ cells leads to charge recombination, thus reducing performance final device. A new thiophene copolymer functionalized side chain with liquid crystalline (LC) group, poly{(3-hexylthiophene)-co-3[6-(4-cyanodiphenyloxy)hexyl]thiophene}, has been synthesized order induce microphase separation when conjugated electron donor polymer mixed acceptor PCBM blend. Due its good solubility common organic solvents, LC-copolymer fully characterized using spectroscopic, thermal electronic techniques. results suggest that, upon suitable annealing procedure, spontaneously assembles highly ordered which favors nano-dispersed aggregation molecules, allowing achieve power conversion near 6%.
