摘要: “Diffusion-weighted” MRI in the normal human brain and a patient with cerebral metastasis is demonstrated. The method employed was modified CE-FAST sequence imaging times of only 6-10 s using conventional 1.5-T whole-body system (Siemens Magnetom). As previous phantom animal studies, use strong gradients together macroscopic motions vivo causes unavoidable artifacts diffusion-weighted images brain. While these are shown to be considerably reduced by averaging 8-16 images, resulting diffusion contrast compromised unknown signal losses due motion. © 1989 Academic press, Inc.
