摘要: Cardiometabolic risk factors may be of key importance in the development future brain diseases like dementia or depression. However, it remains unclear how these exactly affect brain. Advanced MR imaging methods such as, diffusion weighted and functional MRI, can provide detailed insights into subtle changes, potentially early disease. In this narrative review, we summarize available evidence on associations cardiometabolic with changes MRI measures. We found clear that hyperglycemia, physical inactivity, central obesity, hypertension are associated both structural alterations, while role dyslipidemia is far less clear. longitudinal assesses temporality more advanced thus precise needed to improve our complex etiology diseases.
