Dispersion parameters of cadmium chloride doped PVA-PVP blend films

摘要: Solution cast films of poly vinylalcohol (PVA) – vinylpyrrolidone (PVP) polymer blend, doped with different concentrations (from 0.5 wt% up to 40 wt%) cadmium chloride (CdCl2) have been studied by analysing the data recorded using optical (UV-Vis) spectrometry. The modified band structure PVA -PVP blends CdCl2 has Moss model and Wemple - DiDomenco model. Optical parameters such as transmittance (T), reflectance (R), refractive index (n), average oscillator energy (E0), dispersion (Ed), real imaginary part dielectric constant (er ei) determined. ratio charge carrier concentration effective mass (N/m*), plasma frequency (ωp), wavelength (λo), strength (So), conductivity (σ) momenta spectra (M−1 M−3) estimated for PVA-PVP blend CdCl2.
