摘要: Nowadays, dogs are usually equally treated with other family members. Due to the growing caregivers’ awareness, pet foods industry is changing dynamically. Pet manufactured a myriad of ingredients. Few authors scientific papers deal topic products’ safety for animals, assessed from perspective their caregivers. Despite many methods producing highest quality, there still cases contamination and treats. In case dried chews dogs, bacteria genus Salmonella most common risk. both dry wet foods, in addition species bacteria, we often mold fungi metabolites, mycotoxins. This article presents selected microbiological risks dog treats, analyzes Rapid Alert System Food Feed (RASFF) system (2017–2020) pathogenic microorganisms chews, treats foods. this period, food-related notifications were registered, which categorized into different types. Analyzing RASFF over it has been shown that bacterial while terms overall mycotoxin content, these products may appear safe.
