We review qualitative literature on views experiences of smokers who quit unassisted. Method systematically searched for peer-reviewed studies reporting identified 11 used a technique based Thomas Harden’s method thematic synthesis to discern key themes relating unassisted cessation, then group related into overarching concepts.
