摘要: Ischemic heart disease remains the most common cause of death in developed countries. Significant advances have been made treatment coronary artery (CAD), resulting several options for medical, percutaneous and surgical therapies. The goals must be rigorously upheld when considering optimal therapy each patient with CAD, which include anginal relief, improved quality life, freedom from cardiovascular complications importantly, prolonged survival. Despite current trends intervention recent popularity drug-eluting stents, strongest, robust evidence longest follow-up, still fervently supports bypass (CAB) surgery as gold standard left main disease, triple vessel two proximal anterior descending (LAD) involvement, especially patients diabetes poor ventricular (LV) function. Herein, this chapter will review history revascularization, along clinical indications, preoperative evaluation, techniques, conduit selection, expected postoperative course, future CAB surgery.
