摘要: Laparoscopic and open liver resection have not been compared in randomized trials. The aim of the current study was to compare inflammatory response after laparoscopic colorectal metastases (CLM) a controlled trial. This predefined exploratory substudy within Oslo CoMet-study. Forty-five patients with CLM were (n = 23) or 22) resection. Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid-plasma samples collected preoperatively at defined time points during surgery snap frozen -80 C. A total 25 markers examined using luminex enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay techniques: high-mobility box group 1(HMGB-1), cell-free DNA (cfDNA), cytokines, terminal C5b-9 complement complex activation.Eight increased significantly from baseline: HMGB-1, cfDNA, interleukin (IL)-6, C-reactive protein, macrophage protein -1β, monocyte chemotactic -1, IL-10, complex. Peak levels reached end shortly surgery. Five markers, IL-6, showed higher group.Laparoscopic reduced lower level HMGB-1 is interesting because known association oncogenesis.
