Wide-Scan MSC-AFTSA Array-Fed Grooved Spherical Lens Antenna for Millimeter-Wave MIMO Applications

摘要: A new three-element multi- sin -shape corrugated antipodal Fermi tapered slot antenna (MSC-AFTSA) array integrated with a grooved spherical (GS) lens operating at 57–64 GHz is introduced. Multicorrugated patterns are implemented to obtain better matching performance when the feeds GS broadband coverage. An design for grooving profile presents principle an optimum focal point feed using antennas. This technique gives more freedom enhance $E$ - and $H$ -plane characteristics gain of 20 dB, radiation efficiency 83% 60 GHz, wide angle multibeam It relatively small spherical-lens three MSC-AFTSA array, $44.2 \times 51.6 25.4$ mm3 in size. There good agreement between calculated measured results. The proposed prototype its wide-scan suitable multiple-input–multiple-output communication systems millimeter-wave bands.
