Enhancement of superconductivity via periodic modulation in a three-dimensional model of cuprates

摘要: Recent experiments in the cuprates have seen evidence of a transient superconducting state upon optical excitation polarized along c-axis [R. Mankowsky et al., Nature 516, 71 (2014)]. Motivated by these we propose an extension single-layer $t-J-V$ model to three dimensions order study effects inter-plane tunneling on competition between superconductivity and bond density wave order. We find that pump can suppress charge simultaneously enhance superconductivity, due inherent two. also provide intuitive picture physical mechanism underlying this effect. Furthermore, based simple Floquet theory estimate magnitude enhancement.
