摘要: Non-wood is one of the most important raw materials for pulp and paper production in several countries due to its abundance cost-effectiveness. However, pulping papermaking characteristics canola straw have rarely been investigated. The objective this work was determine potential application chemimechanical (CMP) process. At first, chemical composition were assessed compared with those other non-woods. Then, CMP conducted using different dosages sodium sulfite hydroxide. results showed that, by applying a mild pretreatment, i.e., 4-12% (wt.) NaOH 8-12% Na(2)SO(3), straw, brightness reached almost 40%ISO, strength properties comparable bagasse wheat CMP. impact post-refining on also discussed work.
