摘要: Natural forest area is decreasing but planted increasing by years. The main target of establishment industrial plantation rehabilitating unproductive production areas (mitigate land degradation). Plantation ecosystem also expected provide some goods and services even though timber usually become the service. This paper aims to present data information about value derived from plantations with case studies in South Sumatra Province. Total Economic Value (TEV) concept used as framework quantify forest. TEV widely use measure utilitarian ecosystems support efficient resources allocation. result indicates that economic plantaton reflected 17,242.72 USD. higher than natural secondary abandoned peatswamp Its can both non-timber benefits generated ecological functions In peat swamps area, development adaptive species will producion mitigate degradation.
