摘要: ABSTRACT The discus fish (Symphysodon aequifasciatus) is an ornamental that well-known around the world. Phenotype investigation indicated there are no significant differences in appearance between males and females of fish. To better understand sexual development mechanisms obtain a high efficiency sex identification method artificial reproduction process fish, we constructed six cDNA libraries from three adult testes ovaries, perform RNA-sequencing for identifying sex-biased candidate genes, microRNA (miRNA), metabolic pathway using Illumina Hiseq 4000. A total 50,082 non-redundant genes (unigenes) were identified, which 18,570 unigenes significantly overexpressed testes, 11,182 8 differentially expressed validated by quantitative Real-Time PCR (qPCR). 551 miRNAs 47 7 one non-differential miRNA qPCR. Twenty-four these their 15 predicted target constituted 41 important miRNA-mRNA interaction pairs, may be candidates sex-related Some vital pathways also identified play key roles regulating gonad These results can provide insights to molecular dimorphism gonads development.
