摘要: Snow cover is an important land surface variable, especially in the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau, and profoundly impacts plant phenology, growth, soil respiration net ecosystem production. However, few studies have been conducted to examine reliability of current snow models Plateau. This study examined three (SnowMAUS, revised SnowMAUS, SnowFrostIce) across 23 meteorological stations covering a variety altitudes. All substantially overestimated depth numbers days with because they ignored impact wind speed. Based on this has incorporated equations dealing speed develop new model (SnowWind). Moreover, parameter inversion method was improved by separating calculations into two processes (snow accumulation melting) estimating parameters separately. The results showed that SnowWind can estimate dynamics reasonable precision presence or absence and, large extent, depth. better also number constrained performance. Regional estimates are comparable those derived from satellite-based products regard days. result shows alternative approach makes it possible simulate sow over areas.
