摘要: While cases of meningococcic septicemia are common, being reported in large series the literature, those which accompanying endocarditis and myocarditis have been proved uncommon. The literature at present time contains 17 case reports 12 caused by meningococcus. Cardiac involvement these types has rapidly fatal majority cases, while a smaller number course subacute or chronic. Cases more frequently during past ten years, as up to 1927 there were only 11 (Rhoads 1 ). duration disease varies from days (my case) eight one-half months (Gwyn 2 ), average about six weeks. An early diagnosis septicemia, with its various lesions, is often not arrived at, owing resemblance symptoms other, frequent, conditions.
