摘要: A novel open-ended half-mode substrate-integrated waveguide (HMSIW) sensor with dielectric flange for measuring complex permittivity of liquids, semisolids, and granular particulate materials is presented. The HMSIW designed fabricated on FR4 substrate. model described by using the aperture admittance waveguide. a given material determined from measurement one-port reflection coefficient. For accurate permittivity, well-known three-material (air, distilled water, 25% ethanol aqueous solution) calibration method was used. Complex 50% 76% solutions measured were in good agreement those obtained an coaxial-line probe. In addition, results measurements saline solutions, gelatin samples, canola seed samples different moisture contents are shown.
