摘要: Abstract Radioactive caesium (20–60 kBq m -2 ) was deposited after the Chernobyl accident in mountains of central Norway. Two sympatric ptarmigan species, willow Lagopus lagopus and rock L. mutus, inhabit this alpine ecosystem are important game species. In 1987 1988, a study carried out to try identify factors affecting radioactive concentration these birds. Juvenile contained more radiocaesium than adults, but two sexes did not differ concentration. The food plants correlated with ptarmigan, seasonal variation both species seen. Rock during winter, summer. This difference related differences diet. bioconcentration factor 0·4–0·6. aggregated transfer coefficient 0·003–0·009 m 2  kg -1 for spite high deposition, muscle rarely exceeded limit recommended human consumption (600 Bq kg ).
