摘要: The existence of both bright and dark solitary wave solutions has been demonstrated for higher order nonlinear Schrodinger (HNLS) equation containing up to the fourth linear second dispersion. We found that are completely characterized by material properties free from arbitrary parameters in contrast pure NLS equation. two types solution were further shown have complementary parameter space share a singularity line asymptotic values ±∞ envelope velocities.
