摘要: Simple mixing or shaking of alkaline earth hydroxides with ammonium fluoride results in nanocrystalline phase pure metal fluorides MF2 (M: Ca, Sr, Ba). The formation the was investigated by varying reaction conditions. Evidence found that just contact between starting materials is sufficient for to take place. X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, 19F MAS NMR spectroscopy, and measurements DC conductivities were used characterize regarding properties like crystal structure, crystallite sizes, local fluorine coordination, ion conductivity. spectra prepared showed several signals, which assigned defects, impurities, geometric distortions. revealed orders magnitude higher than observed respective microcrystalline fluorides. Therefore, synthesis routine presented this study may open a path very quick simple fast conductors.
