摘要: Background The anterolateral triangle enclosed by the foramen rotundum and ovale constitutes part of floor middle cranial fossa (MCF). Objective To assess feasibility a transnasal prelacrimal approach for accessing MCF via an corridor to determine extent maximal exposure while safeguarding neurovascular structures. Methods A was performed in 5 cadaveric specimens (10 sides). Following identification ovale, bony ridge between 2 drilled expose MCF. temporal lobe dura then elevated laterally, distances from respective borders area window were measured using surgical navigation device. Results exposed with 0° scope all also exposing significant landmarks including meningeal artery, greater superficial petrosal nerve, superior petrous sinus, arcuate eminence. Average anterior, posterior, lateral 22.86 ± 1.87 mm, 27.24 0.94 24.23 1.61 respectively. average 554.12 60.22 mm2. Preservation vidian palatine nasal wall, nasolacrimal duct possible 10 sides. Conclusion It is feasible access endoscopic seemingly low risk.
