摘要: Abstract Anthropogenic contamination of Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn in riverbed sediments the Pampean area (Matanza-Riachuelo Basin, MRB), Argentina, was evaluated using various indices: Geo-accumulation Index (Igeo), Contamination Factor (Cf), Metal Pollution (MPI), Load (PLI) Degree (Cdeg). A database based on previous samplings heavy metal concentrations at different sites Upper, Middle Lower MRB used. The Igeo Cf values are calculated selected local background (Pristine loess, LZB), global average shale (ASTW). Paired results with LZB ASTW fall dissimilar classes, especially respect Cd. In turn, MPI, PLI Cdeg show similar results, as they do not have same degree confidence Cf. Upper mainly rural, shows following profile sediment contamination: Cd > Ni > Cu ≫ Pb > Zn > Cr. which is periphery a very industrialised urban area, displays for both Cf: Cu > Pb > Zn > Ni > Cd > Cr. Conversely, where land-use urban/industrial, levels higher appear this order: Cr > Pb > Cu > Zn > Ni > Cd. Cadmium, Ni shown no significant oral and/or dermal HQ nor carcinogenic risk but potential posed by Cr must be taken into account. Maximum mean total (TCR) well TCR also point to health children Basin Area. All data analysed confirm that industrial growth without planning, poor environmental legislation until beginning 21st century, provided necessary framework sustainable development MRB.
