摘要: Abstract A new approach is proposed for the prediction of multiaxial fatigue elastomers. This inspired in principle, if not details, from Dang Van’s work on a criterion non-initiation cracks metals subjected to arbitrary periodic loadings. It consists heuristically extending Haigh’s diagram, which provides experimental lifetime 1D cyclic loadings as function mean stress and amplitude, completely 3D achieved by defining, every loading, some “equivalent” loading. To do so, one considers smallest sphere containing closed path suitably chosen variable 6D space, approximately characterizes this through norm center radius so-called Van sphere. These parameters, are equivalent case then used entries diagram predict lifetime. Multiaxial experiments performed Mars Saintier critically assess proposal, it found improve upon previous ones.
