摘要: We have studied the elastic surface waves in a truncated two-dimensional solid composite. The periodic structure is constituted by square array of parallel tungsten (W) cylinders embedded silicon (Si). plane that terminates crystal cuts perpendicularly periodicity along (10) direction. Thus to axes row cylinders. found can propagate with wave vector laying one dimensional results from truncation. Both mixed and transverse polarizations were considered, but only polarization exist when truncation leaves complete cells at surface. also guidance homogeneous layer Si grown crystal. confinement within this adlayer possible due scattering effects suffered field displacement inside frequencies band gaps.
