摘要: AbstractObjectives: To identify the frequency and characteristics of patients admitted to inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) following a stroke who are able return oral feedings have their feeding tube (FT) removed prior discharge from IPR, timing FT removal, implications for outcomes. Methods: Medical records were identified by admission impairment code (RIC) (RIC 01), reviews completed two physiatrists speech language pathologists. At random, 25% charts reviewed second rater data quality control. Measures collected during chart review included following: age, gender, onset stroke, length stay (LOS), FIM™, destination, diet level, status.
