Fine structure in the cluster decay of radium isotopes

摘要: Half-life times for 14C cluster emission from various radium isotopes are computed taking interacting potential as the sum of Coulomb and proximity potentials. The half-life time values compared with experimental data reported by Poenaru et al using analytical super-asymmetric fission model (ASAFM). lowest 222Ra stresses role doubly magic 208Pb daughter in exotic decay process. It is found that neutron excess parent nucleus slows down high hindrance factor (HF) branch to ground state (9/2+) low HF first excited (11/2+) 209Pb good agreement result. fine structure 223Ra gives direct evidence presence a spherical component deformed nucleus.
