摘要: Consideration of any intervention directed toward the modification human behavior must assess possibility that may worsen targeted or produce other forms are just as undesirable. In literature on delinquency prevention, much discussion potential for negative effects interventions centers around problem labeling. Chapter 11 reviews intellectual foundations labeling theory, describes its most frequently discussed elements, results empirical tests labeling, and evaluates impact early delinquent related behaviors.
