摘要: The interactions of the 4 basic soil physical properties—volumetric water content, matric potential, strength, and air-filled porosity—were investigated over a range contrasting textures for 3 compaction levels forest soils in New Zealand, using linear non-linear regression methods. Relationships among these properties depended on texture bulk density. Soil increased volumetric contents at field capacity, wilting point, associated with restraining strength values, but decreased content when porosity was limiting. integrated effect porosity, plant growth described by single parameter, least limiting (LLWR). LLWR defines within which is likely to be limited availability air strength. narrowed or most cases. In coarse sandy soil, initial LLWR, further LLWR. sensitive variations management practices potential indicator condition sustainable management.
