摘要: The dynamic response of flexible membrane structures to blast loads is described, with application toward shelter systems. Shelters such as the Tent Extendable Modular Personnel tents fall into category highly due their large deformation behavior. Material testing was conducted determine material properties liner and canvas material. A finite element model for structure developed, loading conditions obtained. Transient analysis performed based on an implicit approach in which time integration done using Newmark method, Newton-Raphson method used nonlinear analysis. Dynamic responses consisting displacement histories stresses were computed model. parametric study performed, design recommendations are presented.
