摘要: Background Selective local acceleration of myocardial activation during ventricular fibrillation (VF) contributes information on the interactions between neighboring zones arrhythmia. This study analyzes these interactions, centering observations an isthmus myocardium two radiofrequency (RF) lesions. Methods In nine isolated rabbit hearts, a gap preserved was established RF lesions in anterolateral left ventricle (LV) wall. Before, during, and after increasing spatial heterogeneity VF by stretching, epicardial recordings were obtained. Results Local stretch anterior LV wall decreased excitable window (17 ± 7 ms vs 26 ms; P < 0.05) increased dominant frequency (DFr; 18.9 5.0 Hz 15.2 3.6 Hz; this zone, without changes non-stretched posterolateral zone (25 4 27 6 ms, ns 14.1 2.7 14.3 3.0 Hz, ns). The DFr ratio at both sides inversely correlated to (R = −0.57; 0.002). Before (31% 26%), (29% 22%), suppression (35% 25%), wavefronts passing through from seen predominate. number that passed related 0.41; 0.03). Conclusions The induced stretched does not increase flow toward adjacent myocardium. absence significant electrophysiological parameters limits arrival zone.
