摘要: Abstract The purpose of this study was to decide the best injection strategy for CO 2 geo-sequestration in a deep saline aquifer with complex bedded sandstone-shale sequences. is decided based on estimates safety index (SFI). Numerical simulation method used study. major conclusions from are: (1) Safe trapping mechanisms contribute lower risk leakage by as immobile blobs or changing phase supercritical aqueous, ionic, and mineral phases post-injection period. (2) For an sequences, should be results evaluation SFI estimation. (3) well location affected strategy. using down-dip than up-dip well. (4) case use inject into bottom sandstone layer. scenario reached 0.99 at storage time 1000 years, which meant that probability occurring nearly zero.
