摘要: Northern blot analysis of total RNA and polyadenylated isolated from adult rat testes showed that a proopiomelanocortin (POMC)-like messenger molecule is present in these extracts. The testicular POMC comparable length to amygdala midbrain appears be at least 200 nucleotides shorter than found the hypothalamus anterior intermediate lobes pituitary gland. Hybridization situ located Leydig cells, which are only cells contain immunostainable POMC-derived peptides. These results suggest local synthesis occurs testis.
